Zum Johanna Sebus Denkmal in Kleve

Tested the pick-up service for the first time today during the 2nd Corona Lockdown, it was excellent. Had roast goose and a schnitzel dish with lots of side dishes, both very fresh and well prepared, also very rich and very, very tasty. Didn't get it, will definitely order again, thank you very much!

It was our first time there and I have to say it was excellent. Good home cooking, everything freshly prepared, we haven't eaten so hot and delicious leck for a long time. Family atmosphere, we felt like we'd been coming for years. Melanie and Marcel You do it very well and we'd love to come back. 😉

After looking for a place to relax in the near past, a friend made me aware of the small restaurant in my immediate vicinity - why ever this has not been noticed by me for years, I have to say that it is one more visit than is worth. Since I discovered this location for myself, I am with my wife and / or colleagues / friends on site almost every week to relax and simply to escape the hectic everyday work. Due to the location with the view of the lock, this is not a major problem. But what would such a location be without delicious food that invites you to order the menu up and down? So far everything has tasted very good to me. This, in combination with the friendly service, will make me stop by here more often in the future. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

In the last 3 months I've been here 9 times. The ambience is cozy and invites you to linger. The service is always friendly and I haven't found anything on the menu that didn't taste great. The food is freshly prepared and special requests are no problem either. All the people we took with us were satisfied. I'm already looking forward to the next visit, which has now become a weekend ritual.

Wonderful place to have a drink or to eat something in the evening while cycling. Very friendly service. The food was super tasty for a very reasonable (cheap for us Dutch) price. Will come back here for sure. Maybe tomorrow😂

Best currywurst. Forget the Ruhr area or Berlin the self-proclaimed inventors of the currywurst. This is it. Shortly after work a bike tour from Kleve and then here on the terrace another currywurst in the setting sun. Divine.

Food was delicious and we were served more than friendly. What more do you want?

Friendly female servant. We only had some Beer and dry white wine and a bread board with butter / salt and a nice spread. It was well worth the 11 euros. Nice place to have a pit stop while you are cycling. Highly recommended.
